Why Is This Now A Test Event?
“I requested Latitude to become a test event because in the event of a delay after 19th of July it would give Latitude the certainty of going ahead under a step 3 environment, in the same way as the other pilot events that I have run. In addition, even if ‘freedom day’ comes on the 19th, and we get off at the terminus, I’m sure everyone will agree that the additional data that will be given to government from this event will benefit us all in the future” – Melvin Benn

Who Can Attend?
Everyone. No one is disbarred. All anyone will need is proof of immunity, a negative lateral flow test or proof of vaccination. However, the Events Research Programme Science Board advises caution for clinically extremely vulnerable people attending the pilot events on public health grounds.

My Children Haven’t Had Jabs, What Do We Do?
Children who are 11 years old or over will need to show a negative lateral flow test result before entry to the festival. Children under 11 do not need this, or proof of vaccination. Over 18’s can show proof of negative lateral flow test, vaccination status or proof of immunity.

Is This A COVID Passport?
No. You can show a certificate of vaccination but it’s not mandatory. You can take a lateral flow test instead if you prefer, or show proof of immunity.

What If I Get A Positive Lateral Flow Test?
If you get a positive lateral flow test before you enter the festival you will NOT be able to enter and you will need to follow government advice, including self-isolating. Your ticket will be refunded in this instance.

What If My Accommodation Is Off Site?
That’s not a problem. Just show your vaccination status at the gate each day or take a lateral flow test every 48 hours. If you take a Lateral flow test, only those with a negative result will be allowed to enter.

Will I Have To Wear A Face Covering/Practice Social Distancing During The Event?
No.

Will I Have To Follow COVID-19 Guidelines Before And After The Event?
Yes. Follow government guidance on your way to and from the event.

How Do We Show We’re Vaccinated?
You will be able to show your status on the NHS app.

If We Test Positive Do We Get A Refund?
Yes.

Will The Festival Feel Different/Smaller/Less Than A Normal Latitude?
No! Once inside you will be able to enjoy the magic of the festival as normal.

Do I Take My Test At Home Or On Site?
Please take your lateral flow test at home before setting off for the festival.
