Dogfest

We have made the difficult decision to cancel DogFest South at Knebworth House this coming weekend on the 7th & 8th July 2018.

We have been working closely with the MET office who are predicting temperatures in excess of 27 degrees Celsius. These conditions are not in the best interests of visiting dogs and families due to the associated risks, and our main concern is for the welfare of our visitors – dog and human. We have taken extensive advice from our team of welfare officers and vets who agree that other factors beyond our control such as journey times, walks from the car park, traffic and queues cannot be guaranteed. Our number one priority is that everyone who comes to DogFest has a safe, enjoyable time and as it stands this is at risk due to the predicted weather conditions.

We are sorry for the disappointment and disruption caused to everyone who was looking forward to attending DogFest South, but as dog lovers, we trust you agree this is the right thing to do for our animal friends and family.

Full refunds will be issued to all ticket holders within a 30 day period. For any queries please use the form here https://public.mc.hostedcc.com/nec/forms/OnlineEmailForm and a member of the team will come back to you.

You can stay up to date with information about DogFest events on our website and via our social media channels. Thank you for being part of our DogFest community and we look forward to seeing you in the future.

It is with regret that we have taken the very difficult decision to cancel DogFest at Knebworth House this weekend. We have worked in close consultation with the Met Office, Animal Welfare and vets to make this decision, and ultimately our main concern is for the welfare of all our visitors. As DogFest is about a dogs’ day out, we think it’s important that visitors can bring their dogs to the show and in this instance the temperature is forecast at over 27 degrees Celsius which is not suitable for hosting this event. We thank all our visitors, exhibitors and sponsors for their support and understanding.
